FFRS constantly monitors the state of availability for a station and or vehicle by examining the numbers, skills and ranks of available personnel.
If the minimum personnel requirements for sending out an emergency vehicle are 4, for example, 1x Crew leader, 1x Driver and 2x BA operators, then FFRS will determine if that minimum requirement has been met out of those who have said they are available.
This status or any change in status may be communicated to the team and/or control center on
rules set up by the individual station. If the minimum requirements are not being met then this
can also be communicated to all personnel via an alert message. Some personnel who had previously
indicated they were not available may choose to change their status.
The responder notification sends the name, rank, qualification & total number of responders at predefined
intervals via push notification, SMS text, pager & email.
FFRS will re‐evaluate the availability accordingly and may then send out a message to indicate if the minimum
requirements are still not being met.
The agency FFRS administrator can create an additional tab for the agency’s vehicles. The location / position event data is entered to fit the agency’s needs for the available, on duty and unavailable grids. FFRS
will automatically generate a phone number for this tab and the agency FFRS administrator will create a
profile for each vehicle.
By pressing one button on the vehicle mobile phone the crew leader can quickly indicate when the vehicle
is responding, arriving and or available / unavailable for further calls.
Tablets, smartphones or any other device that is connected to the internet can also be used to change the
vehicle’s status via the FFRS app.
Members can scan an RFID fob and select arrived, check in, on duty, available and unavailable.
Alert tones can be uploaded and set for when members make status changes and dispatch messages are received.
The Turnout Timer provides a visual display of the time elapsed since the call was received at the station.
A mutual aid link is available to view your neighboring FFRS application. This data is read only and the agency must have agreed to share their members response data.
Post meeting minutes, event information, or any other documents via hyperlinks for quick and easy access.
Your organization is in complete control of the system. You control who can access the system, who can enter information and who can obtain information all through simple and easy to use entry fields. There is no need to rely on any outside computer personnel or information technology services. FFRS links you into the network through communication facilities that you are familiar with and use every day - computers, mobile phones, smart phones, and the Internet. This means better management of any incident or emergency, greater safety, better use of resources and faster, more successful outcomes.
